Our First Peek!

By now most of you know our exciting news... We have been given the honor of becoming parents this fall! September 7, 2009 to be exact. It's going to be so exciting to experience God's plan and watch our baby's development. We hope this blog site will help you to stay updated, too. We thank you in advance for all of your prayers over our little baby. You all are such wonderful friends and family, and we are so thankful for how each of you has influenced our lives.

Last Monday was our first Dr. appointment. We went in expecting to be about 7 weeks pregnant and found our we were actually 11 weeks along! WOW! It was also the first time we were blessed to sneak a peek at our precious baby! What a miracle! He/she was moving all around the place and had a super strong heartbeat of 167 bpm. We are so thankful to have a healthy baby! Check out the little fingers and toes already forming. I found this great website that tells all about what happens each week in the baby's development, including the approximate size in comparison to a piece of fruit. It helps to put the baby's size into perspective for mom :) He/she started out the size of a poppy-seed in week 1 and now is the size of a fig in week 11 (approx. 1 1/2 inches long)!

Tomorrow is the first day of week 12, and by the end of this week he/she will be the size of a lime! In one more week trimester numero uno will be finished! We love you all!
Blessings, Mommy and Daddy Meeh

  1. I am so excited to be the first comment on your new blog! Welcome to Blogworld! Can't wait to keep up with each step. This was the exact same template we used for Little JB until we found out it was a "she"! This is such an exciting time for the family. We are all joining you in prayer and love and can't wait to get to know Baby Meeh. Thank you for including us, coming to see us this past weekend, and loving on Anna Claire. Our sweet sugars are going to be exactly two years apart since our pregnancies are only a week apart--so fun! Love you both and can't wait to hug that growing belly. Love, your cousins/the Bradleys
